Supporting health and safety
Reprotec’s inspection of the boat steps at a rowing club identified that the crumbling concrete was largely due to the saturation of the concrete caused by the ingress of water when the steps were submerged, particularly in the winter months.
The project involved the repair of the steps and joints using Reprotec Floor Doctor and Reprotec Joint Doctor respectively. Then applying Reprotec Stoneseal, which is a fully absorbing spray-applied repellent treatment that adds further strength and support in preventing further ingress of water. Reprotec Line Paint was used for the safety demarcations.
During the project, minimal waste was produced of which 100% avoided landfill and was recycled with a monitoring and traceability record; vacuum assisted preparation—100% no dust; controlled waste environment – 100% no dust – no fumes – no mess – no fuss.
