Malcolm Carr, Site Supervisor, was presented with an award for over 20 years’ service at Reprotec, during the final company meeting of 2015.
John Holmes, Managing Director of Reprotec, who presented the award, commented;
“I was delighted to present this award to Malcolm. Malcolm came to us as a young Operative and proved himself to be a willing worker. He’s progressed through the ranks and now represents Reprotec on-site at our client Nissan, in Sunderland, where he managers our site maintenance contract.
“Malcolm deserves this award, he’s a great character. I describe him as our stick of candy rock – he has Reprotec running right through him.
“He’s great at what he does. And when you consider that he came to us as a young person with limited knowledge of the industry, he’s done fantastically well. Malcolm was the first of six employees, we originally put through our first NVQ Level 2 training programme in 2005, and are still with us today. Based on the success of that programme we continue to run it today.”
Malcolm Carr added;
“I’d like to thank the company for this award and also, John Holmes personally, whom I’ve worked with since starting at Reprotec. It’s a pleasure to work here. Reprotec are an innovative company to work for and they invest in developing their staff. We have an excellent apprenticeship scheme here and I think it’s fantastic that we offer NVQ’s.
“My colleagues are great and it’s good to see some of the younger talent coming through too. I’d say right now, we have one of the best and strongest teams we’ve ever had. They’re all individually talented and we all work well together. I’m looking forward to another 20 years here!”
Malcolm’s is the first of several long-service awards which will be presented to Reprotec employees over 2016 and beyond, as the firm continues to recognise and reward employees.
