Reprotec has supported the Durham Food and Clothes Bank for several years with regular donations of clothing and toiletries; however, at Christmas, Reprotec staff have always made an extra-special effort to donate toys and gifts for teenagers. It has also become standard practice for staff to not send Christmas cards and instead, donate the money to buy items in need that must be new e.g. socks/underwear. This year staff at Reprotec raised £200 for toiletries and Christmas presents, and a full range of new and nearly new clothing was donated.
John Holmes, MD of Reprotec Group, said: “I consider it vitally important to try and give a little back, especially to those less fortunate than ourselves, and even though we are a small business we constantly try to play our small part.”
Trevor Bark from The Durham Food and Clothing Bank said: “We are delighted by the support given to us by Reprotec. Many families have benefitted by the generosity of Reprotec staff.”
